Balancing Act – Jasmine & Neroli Facial Oil

Light, balancing oil for oily, blemish-prone skin.

Oily skin still needs oil – just the right kind. Research has found that oily, blemish-prone skin is often low in linoleic acid, a light essential fatty acid. Balancing Act is built around it: roughly half the blend is linoleic acid, drawn from four carefully chosen plant oils and scented with neroli and jasmine. It sinks in quickly to a soft satin finish.

The science, ingredient by ingredient

Grapeseed oil
The backbone of the blend. Around 70% linoleic acid, making it one of the lightest, fastest-absorbing plant oils. In a clinical study, linoleic acid applied to blemish-prone skin reduced the size of microcomedones – the tiny pore blockages that come before spots.

Sesame oil
A light, balanced oil used in Ayurvedic skincare for centuries. It adds more linoleic acid, plus natural antioxidants called sesamol and sesamin that help keep the blend fresh.

Rosehip oil
Rich in linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid, two essential fatty acids the body can't make for itself and which support the skin's natural barrier. Its natural carotenoids give the oil its golden colour.

Pomegranate seed oil
One of the richest natural sources of punicic acid, a rare omega-5 fatty acid studied for its antioxidant and soothing properties.

Neroli & jasmine
Neroli is distilled from bitter orange blossom and jasmine is extracted from its flowers. Together they give a soft, uplifting floral scent.

Also inside
Vitamin E (tocopherol) to protect the oils, plus touches of jojoba, sunflower and calendula.

How to use

After cleansing, warm 2–3 drops between your fingertips and gently press onto face and neck, morning or evening. In the daytime, follow with SPF. Patch test before first use.
